NEFA Holds Spotting Seminar

Experts Ed Alexander, of R.R. Street Company, and Bob Edwards, of A.L. Wilson Company, recently presented a Spotting program at Luxury Cleaners in Lincoln RI.  The program featured a unique opportunity to hear from two different people, each with their own secrets and tips to being more proficient. 

During the first afternoon, Mr. Alexander demonstrated the basics of spotting, and then provided an opportunity for attendees to work on the board and put into practice what they had learned. 

The second day, participants were able to bring back questions and to share their experiences in getting out stains.  Then Mr. Edwards walked the participants through the more advanced techniques of spotting and even demonstrated the uses of highly specific bleaches.   

NEFA thanks Norton Supply Company, Aristocraft Supply, and Package Supply for helping to co-sponsor the program.  NEFA is in the process of scheduling at least 2 more of these programs in the next two months.  Anyone interested in having a program near them or attending, please contact the NEFA Office.  The cost of the program is $79/member and $129 for nonmembers.
